Facilities: Campsites, campervan sites overlooking the ocean, plumbed toilets, free hot showers - You won't be disappointed in this site!
Security: 24 hour onsite staff
Features: Located on Gibson Quay. Situated at the Hokitika river mouth, only 100m from town. Breakfast available Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Cost: $35 per person for weekend. No refunds. Limited numbers this year so book early. We have had to turn people away every year!

Hokitika Rugby League Club - Wadeson Island Campsite

Security: On-site staff 24hrs

Features: Friendly, large site, secure, close to town and Festival

Cost: $20 per person per night. Please note there is a two night minimum stay if you arrive on Friday. Pre-paid bookings only, must be deposited by Friday 5th March 2010 or bookings are not guaranteed. Drive ups will be accepted on the day, however, the cost is $25 per person per night. Book early to avoid disappointment.

No Refunds. All funds raised support local sports clubs.

Opening Times:

Friday 12th March 2010 4pm to late

Saturday 13th March 2010 - 7am to 2:30am (gates close at 10pm)

Sunday 14th March 2010 - 7am to 12 noon

Restrictions: No glass, no fires, no hoons. Considerate behaviour expected. Wrist bands must be worn to gain re-entrance at all times.

Features: Within one block of town centre and five minutes walk from Festival site. Courtyard area for campervans.

Restrictions: No glass, no fires, no animals. No vehicles within campsite except campervans. Reasonable behaviour towards fellow campers is expected.

 

Lions Club - Motor home park - Railway Terrace

Facilities: Dedicated area for self-contained campervans only
Features: Railway Terrace is right in the centre of town and is closed to accommodate self-contained campervans. Security: Fenced off secure area - onsite supervisor. Safety in numbers. Short walk to Festival site(100m from festival site). No freedom camping is permitted in Hokitika during the Wildfoods weekend so this is one of a small number of sites available and closest to festivities.Well lit and safe so you can walk at night
Cost: $30 per van per night or $45 for both nights - Limited space this year so be in quick. Don't forget about the Friday night concert this year. Everything is held at Cass Square.
Opening Time: Friday 12th March 2010 from midday. Check out by 12pm Sunday 14th March 2010

Security: 24 hour onsite security.

Features: On the beach front. Town centre only steps away. 5 mins from the Festival site.

Restrictions: Provided wrist bands must be worn at all times to gain re-entry. No glass, No drugs, No fires. In fairness to other campers and so that everyone has an enjoyable stay, disorderly behaviour will not be tolerated.

Cost: $20 per person per night. 50% deposit payable by 5th March 2010. Non-refundable.
